Catalog Number: (BOSSBS-4293R-CY5)
Supplier: Bioss
Description: Acts as a transcription activator for MET and as a key regulator of HGF-MET signaling. Promotes cell motility, proliferation and hepatocyte growth factor (HGF)-dependent scattering in vitro and tumor growth and metastasis in vivo.
UOM: 1 * 100 µl

Catalog Number: (BOSSBS-8170R-A488)
Supplier: Bioss
Description: This gene encodes a protein containing a SET domain, 2 LXXLL motifs, 3 nuclear translocation signals (NLSs), 4 plant homeodomain (PHD) finger regions, and a proline-rich region. The encoded protein enhances androgen receptor (AR) transactivation, and this enhancement can be increased further in the presence of other androgen receptor associated coregulators. This protein may act as a nucleus-localized, basic transcriptional factor and also as a bifunctional transcriptional regulator. Mutations of this gene have been associated with Sotos syndrome and Weaver syndrome. One version of childhood acute myeloid leukemia is the result of a cryptic translocation with the breakpoints occurring within nuclear receptor-binding Su-var, enhancer of zeste, and trithorax domain protein 1 on chromosome 5 and nucleoporin, 98-kd on chromosome 11. Two transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms have been identified for this gene. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008].

Supplier: US Biological
Description: Anti-GP1BB Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody
UOM: 1 * 50 µl

Catalog Number: (BOSSBS-12453R)
Supplier: Bioss
Description: The autoimmune regulator gene, which is defective in the hereditary auto-immune disease APECED, encodes the transcriptional activator AIRE. AIRE is expressed in the medullary epithelial cells and monocyte-dendritic cells of the thymus, with lower expression in the spleen, fetal liver and lymph nodes. In adult tissue, AIRE expression in the thymus is confined to the medulla and the cortico-medullary junction, where it is modulated by thymocytes undergoing negative selection. At the cellular level, AIRE is located in microtubular structures of the cyto-skeleton and in discrete nuclear dots resembling ND10 nuclear bodies. AIRE is induced by developing early thymocytes and is associated with the correct establishment of a regular thymic environment. AIRE regulates thymic architecture via transcriptional control of downstream target genes. AIRE mutations in APECED patients may affect thymic T cell selection and the formation of self-tolerance.

Catalog Number: (BOSSBS-8028R-A555)
Supplier: Bioss
Description: This gene is a necessary element in receptor tyrosine kinase pathways, possibly as a tyrosine phosphorylation target. It is involved in regulation of RAF in the MAPK pathway and may also play a role in a MAPK-independent pathway. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008].
UOM: 1 * 100 µl

Catalog Number: (BOSSBS-0007R-A680)
Supplier: Bioss
Description: AM and PAMP are potent hypotensive and vasodilatator agents. Numerous actions have been reported most related to the physiologic control of fluid and electrolyte homeostasis. In the kidney, am is diuretic and natriuretic, and both am and pamp inhibit aldosterone secretion by direct adrenal actions. In pituitary gland, both peptides at physiologically relevant doses inhibit basal ACTH secretion. Both peptides appear to act in brain and pituitary gland to facilitate the loss of plasma volume, actions which complement their hypotensive effects in blood vessels.

Catalog Number: (USBI137738)
Supplier: US Biological
Description: Anti-CD4 Rat Monoclonal Antibody (APC (Allophycocyanin)) [clone: 13H147]
UOM: 1 * 100 µG

Supplier: Biotium
Description: This antibody recognizes a glycoprotein of 110 kDa, which is identified as CD68. It is important for identifying macrophages in tissue sections. It stains macrophages in a wide variety of human tissues, including Kupffer cells and macrophages in the red pulp of the spleen, in lamina propria of the gut, in lung alveoli, and in bone marrow. It reacts with myeloid precursors and peripheral blood granulocytes. It also reacts with plasmacytoid T cells, which are supposed to be of monocyte/macrophage origin. It shows strong granular cytoplasmic staining of chronic and acute myeloid leukemia and also reacts with rare cases of true histiocytic neoplasia. Lymphomas are negative or show few granules.
