The FreeGlide is a patented in-line powder sampler from Sampling Systems. The FreeGlide is designed to take samples as the powder falls, under gravity, down a pipe. In between taking samples the full bore of the pipe is available for powder flow.
Ideal for pharmaceutical and food applications
The sample is collected in a cup and so is not physically altered by the sampling process
The full bore of the pipe is available for powder flow in between taking samples
Quick and easy to strip down and clean between batches
Over 1000 FreeGlide samplers are in use in food and pharmaceutical factories around the world
The FreeGlide works by extending a sample collection cup into the powder flow. After sampling the cup is returned to the FreeGlide and is inverted, this drops the sample into a bag or bottle.
The FreeGlide was designed for use in the pharmaceutical and food industries. All of the product contact parts are either 316L stainless steel or FDA acceptable polymers.
At the heart of the system is the special, patented, flexible Diaphragm. The Diaphragm separates the dusty product area with the mechanical area at the rear of the sampler. The Diaphragm ensures that the device will not stick during use.
The FreeGlide is available with either manual or automated pneumatic operation and in a range of different sizes.
