It is widely applied in cereals to control pathogens such as <i>Erysiphe graminis</i> (powdery mildew) and <i>Puccinia recondita</i> (cereal rust). Fenpropimorph inhibits fungal; 8 to 7 isomerase and 14 reductase enzymes involved in the ergosterol biosynthesis.
