Catalog Number: (786-599)
Supplier: G-Biosciences
Description: Immobilised Iminobiotin Resin consists of iminobiotin, a cyclic guanido analog of biotin, covalently coupled to 6% crosslinked agarose. The resin allows for the purification of avidin, streptavidin and Neutravidin and their subsequent gentle elution using non denaturing elution buffers.
UOM: 1 * 5 mL

Supplier: Thermo Scientific
Description: Pierce™ Protein G UltraLink™ and Protein G Plus UltraLink™ resins are useful for purification of antibodies and immunoprecipitation (IP). Samples containing IgG are incubated with the resin-immobilised Protein G in a buffer that facilitates binding. After non-IgG and non-antigen components of the sample are washed from the resin, the bound IgG and antigen may be recovered by elution.

Supplier: Merck
Description: Nucleic Acid Purification Kits and Reagents, Tris buffer, 0,5 L

Supplier: OMEGA BIO-TEK
Description: The Mag-Bind® Plant DNA DS 96 Kit is designed for difficult samples (DS) which are hard to lyse or contain high amounts of polysaccharides and polyphenols. The system uses a CTAB-based lysis buffer which does not require organic solvents. The proprietary binding system prevents inhibitors from binding to the magnetic beads. The wash buffer system further removes polysaccharides, phenolic compounds and enzyme inhibitors from plant tissue lysate. An optional rebinding step is included with the kit but most samples do not require the additional treatment.
Supplier: MP Biomedicals
Description: Ammonium Sulfate may be used for the precipitation or fractionation of proteins or for purification of antibodies. Useful for crystallographic analysis of nucleic acids and proteins. The use of ammonium sulfate in long PCR buffer, in PCR lysis solution, and in second strand cDNA synthesis has been reported.

Supplier: Pall Laboratory
Description: Replacement membranes for other stirred cell systems. Used for concentration, fractionation, purification, buffer exchange, or desalting of protein, cell broths, and other biomolecules. Discs can be washed and reused.

Supplier: MP Biomedicals
Description: Storage: Store at Room Temperature (15-30 °C)
Glycine is a non-essential amino acid. It is only amino acid with no asymmetric carbon and thus is not chiral. It is the major inhibitory neurotransmitter. It is involved in the biosynthesis of the porphyrin rings of hemes and chlorophylls.
Glycine is commonly used in buffer solutions, in electrophoresis and preparative chromatography. A study of the folding of monoclonal antibodies in the presence of glycine and their subsequent purification has been published. The use of glycine in the purification of lipopolysaccharides, lipooligosaccharides, and lipid A has been reported. It is an amino acid for use in cell culture media development applications and existing media formulations. Glycine is commonly used as a component in Tris-glycine and Tris-glycine-SDS running buffers for polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis, a component of Towbin's transfer buffer for Western blots, a buffer substance in cryoenzymology, in osmotic pressure maintenance in isoelectric focusing of erythrocytes, salting-in effect in protein chemistry, and as a buffer component in the coupled phosphatase-kinase reaction for end labelling of restriction fragments. The growth requirements of various microorganisms is reported in the Handbook of Microbiology.
Glycine is a non-chiral amino acid that can be synthesized in the body from the amino acid serine by Serine Hydroxymethyltransferase. Inhibitory neurotransmitter in spinal cord, allosteric regulator of NMDA receptors.

Catalog Number: (13-2500-01)
Supplier: VWR Chemicals
Description: Purifies DNA bands 70 bp to 20 kb in length from agarose gels. The DNA band of interest is excised from the gel, dissolved in binding buffer, and efficiently processed in a peqGOLD DNA column. >90% recovery. Elution volume: 30 to 50 µl.
UOM: 1 * 50 Tests

Supplier: Merck
Description: The device utilises gel compression to extract DNA from the agarose. Centrifugal force collapses the gel structure, drives the agarose through a small orifice in the gel nebulizer and the resultant gel slurry is sprayed into the sample filter cup.

Supplier: MP Biomedicals
Description: Sodium phosphate monobasic monohydrate is useful in conjunction with Sodium Phosphate, Dibasic in the preparation of biological buffers. Used in many applications including the purification of antibodies.

Supplier: OMEGA BIO-TEK
Description: The Mag-Bind® Plant DNA 96 plus kit allows rapid and reliable isolation of high-quality genomic DNA from a wide variety of difficult to lyse and high polysaccharide plant species and tissues. The system utilises a CTAB-based lysis buffer without the need for a chloroform or other organic solvent steps. The proprietary wash buffer systems eliminate polysaccharides, phenolic compounds, and enzyme inhibitors from plant tissue lysates. This kit is designed for manual or fully automated high throughput preparation of genomic, chloroplast, and mitochondrial DNA. The Mag-Bind® Plant DNA plus kit also provides greater flexibility than silica plate based systems as partial plates can be used and can be scaled up to a 24-well format with the appropriate magnetic stand. The streamlined protocol can be easily adapted on most robotic liquid handling platforms. Purified DNA is suitable for PCR, qPCR, restriction digestion, hybridisation applications, as well as more demanding applications, such as RAPD.
Supplier: Corning
Description: The efficient removal of unincorporated dNTPs, salts and enzymes after any PCR is detrimental to the success or failure of downstream applications, such as genotyping, Sanger, and Next Generation Sequencing. The AxyPrep™ Mag PCR Clean Up Kit utilises a paramagnetic bead technology for rapid high throughput purification of PCR products. Additionally, the AxyPrep™ Mag PCR Clean Up Kit employs an optimised buffer to selectively bind PCR amplicons 60 bp and larger to paramagnetic beads, providing end users flexibility and high recovery options. The protocol comprises binding, washing and eluting steps, where primers, nucleotides, salts and enzymes in the reaction mixture are efficiently removed leaving a purified PCR product that is essentially free of contaminants. No centrifugation or filtration steps are required, allowing the process to be adapted to multiple commercially available automation platforms.

Supplier: OMEGA BIO-TEK
Description: Modified from the E.Z.N.A.® Plant RNA kit, the E.Z.N.A.® Fungal RNA kit uses an improved buffer system that is more efficient for fungal samples. This kit provides convenient and rapid methods for the isolation of total RNA from a variety of fungal species. Rather, the method involves a simple and rapid precipitation step for removal of much of the polysaccharides and phenolic compounds commonly found in fungal tissues. In combination with HiBind® RNA spin columns, this method permits purification of high quality RNA from as much as 200 mg tissue. The system is also efficient enough to purify total RNA from as little as 10 mg of tissue or 100 cells. Purified RNA can be used for many downstream applications such as RT-PCR, northern blotting, Poly(A)+ mRNA purification, and differential display.
Supplier: Thermo Scientific
