Supplier: Biotium
Description: This antibody recognizes a protein of 54 kDa, which is identified as AMACR, also known as p504S. It is an enzyme that is involved in bile acid biosynthesis and β-oxidation of branched-chain fatty acids. AMACR is essential in lipid metabolism. It is expressed in cells of premalignant high-grade prostatic intraepithelial neoplasia (HGPIN) and prostate adenocarcinoma. The majority of the carcinoma cells show a distinct granular cytoplasmic staining reaction. AMACR is present at low or undetectable levels in glandular epithelial cells of normal prostate and benign prostatic hyperplasia. A spotty granular cytoplasmic staining is seen in a few cells of the benign glands. AMACR is expressed in normal liver (hepatocytes), kidney (tubular epithelial cells) and gall bladder (epithelial cells). Expression has also been found in lung (bronchial epithelial cells) and colon (colonic surface epithelium). AMACR expression can also be found in hepatocellular carcinoma and kidney carcinoma. Past studies have also shown that AMACR is expressed in various colon carcinomas (well, moderately and poorly differentiated) and overexpressed in prostate carcinoma.

Supplier: Bioss
Description: HE4 is a broad range protease inhibitor. It is expressed in a number of normal tissues, including male reproductive system, regions of the respiratory tract and nasopharynx. It is highly expressed in a number of tumors cells lines, such ovarian, colon, breast, lung and renal cells lines.
UOM: 1 * 100 µl

Supplier: Biotium
Description: Recognizes a carbohydrate determinant of Gal 1-3(Fuc 1-4) GlcNAc which is blood group antigen Lewis A. It is present primarily on epithelial cells such as colon and kidneys. In the tumors and dedifferentiated tissues, decrease of Lewis A antigen was observed. Lewis A (type 1 chain) is expressed in colonic epithelial cells and may be useful for detection of gastrointestinal tumors, pancreatic cancer, and colorectal tumors. Blood group related antigens represent a group of carbohydrate determinants carried on both glycolipids and glycoproteins. They are usually mucin-type, and are detected on erythrocytes, certain epithelial cells, and in secretions of certain individuals. Sixteen genetically and biosynthetically distinct but inter-related specificities belong to this group of antigens, including A, B, H, Lewis A, Lewis B, Lewis X, Lewis Y, and precursor type 1 chain antigens.

Catalog Number: (BOSSBS-12485R-A488)
Supplier: Bioss
Description: The adenomatous polyposis syndromes, familial adenomatous polyposis (FAP) and Gardner’s syndrome (GS), are characterized by numerous adenomatous polyps throughout the entire colon. These polyps invariably progress to colon cancer in addition to other extracolonic manifestations. The cloning of the APC gene revealed a ubiquitously expressed protein, 2843 amino acids in length, which is frequently mutated in patients suffering from FAP and GS. APC has been found to be associated with structural components of intracellular junctions. b-catenin and g-catenin (also called plakoglobin) are involved in the regulation of cellular adhesion. APC and E cadherin compete for binding to specific internal regions of both b- and g-catenin. Interactions between cytoskeleton and the APC, E cadherin, b/g catenin complex are mediated by a-catenin.
UOM: 1 * 100 µl

Catalog Number: (BOSSBS-10215R-CY5)
Supplier: Bioss
Description: Carbohydrate-binding lectin with a preference for chitin. Has no chitinase activity. May play a role in tissue remodeling and in the capacity of cells to respond to and cope with changes in their environment. Plays a role in T-helper cell type 2 (Th2) inflammatory response and IL-13-induced inflammation, regulating allergen sensitization, inflammatory cell apoptosis, dendritic cell accumulation and M2 macrophage differentiation. Facilitates invasion of pathogenic enteric bacteria into colonic mucosa and lymphoid organs. Mediates activation of AKT1 signaling pathway and subsequent IL8 production in colonic epithelial cells. Regulates antibacterial responses in lung by contributing to macrophage bacterial killing, controlling bacterial dissemination and augmenting host tolerance. Also regulates hyperoxia-induced injury, inflammation and epithelial apoptosis in lung.
