Description: BAI1 is an Orphan-B GPCR with an unknown ligand. BAI1 is postulated to be a member of the secretin receptor family, an inhibitor of angiogenesis, and a growth suppressor of glioblastoma. Along with BAI1, there are two other brain-specific angiogenesis inhibitor genes, designated BAI2 and BAI3, which have similar tissue specificities and structures. However, only BAI1 is transcriptionally regulated by p53. Loss of BAI1 expression has been implicated in glioblastoma.

Catalog Number: (PRSI7353)
Supplier: ProSci Inc.
Description: UNG2 Antibody: The human uracil-DNA glycosylase (UNG) gene encodes both mitochondrial (UNG1) and nuclear (UNG2) forms through differentially regulated promoters and alternative splicing. UNG2 is the major enzyme in the base excision repair pathway that removes uracil residues from DNA that arise through either misincorporation during replication or cytosine deamination. UNG2 can also be bound by the HIV-1 integrase and incorporated into the virion particle, suggesting that it is required to remove uracils from the viral genome. As the intrinsic antiviral protein APOBEC3G generates numerous uracils in the HIV genome during its replication, it may be that the UNG2 contributes to the APOBEC3G-mediated loss of infectivity by generating abasic sites in the viral genome.

Catalog Number: (PRSI76-614)
Supplier: ProSci Inc.
Description: The UCHT2 monoclonal antibody specifically reacts with human CD5, a 67 kDa type 1 transmembrane glycoprotein. CD5 is expressed on mature T cells, a subset of B cells, and peripheral blood dendritic cells. B cells that are CD5+ produce mostly IgM polyreactive antibodies. Its ligand is CD72, which is involved in T, B cell proliferation and interaction. The UCT2 antibody also recognizes non-human primate CD5.

Catalog Number: (PRSI4599)
Supplier: ProSci Inc.
Description: TNPO3 Antibody: TNPO3 is a member of the importin beta/transportin family of nuclear import receptors and is specific for the essential splicing factors termed SR proteins, binding specifically and directly to the arginine/serine (RS)-rich domains of these proteins. Further experiments demonstrated that this interaction occurs only when these RS domains are phosphorylated. More recently, TNPO3 was identified as an HIV dependency factor (HDF) and that depletion of TNPO3 resulted in HIV inhibition after reverse transcription but before integration, suggesting that TNPO3 may be an important drug target in HIV treatment. At least three isoforms of TNPO3 are known to exist.

Supplier: ProSci Inc.
Description: USP3 is a novel human ubiquitin-specific protease. The USP3 protein is a functional ubiquitin-specific protease in vitro, and is able to inhibit ubiquitin-dependent degradation of both an N-end Rule substrate and abnormal endogenous proteins in yeast. USP3 is also only the second known ubiquitin-specific protease capable of efficiently cleaving a ubiquitin-proline bond.

Catalog Number: (PRSI36-107)
Supplier: ProSci Inc.
Description: Lymphocyte activation gene 3 (LAG-3; CD223) plays an important role in negatively regulating T cell proliferation, function and homeostasis. It is required for maximal natural and induced regulatory T cell (Treg) function. LAG-3 is closely related to the T cell co-receptor CD4 and binds to MHC class II molecules but with a significantly higher affinity than CD4.

Catalog Number: (PRSI91-363)
Supplier: ProSci Inc.
Description: Wnt Inhibitory Factor 1 (WIF1) is a secreted protein, which binds WNT proteins and inhibits their activities. WNT proteins are extracellular signalling molecules involved in the control of embryonic development. WIF1 contains a WNT inhibitory factor (WIF) domain and 5 epidermal growth factor (EGF)-like domains. is found to be present in fish, amphibia and mammals. WIF1 is a recurrent target in human salivary gland oncogenesis.WIF1 may be involved in mesoderm segmentation. WIF1 is a tumour suppressor, specifically in nonfunctioning pituitary tumours.

Description: STAT3 is a member of the STAT protein family. In response to cytokines and growth factors, STAT family members are phosphorylated by the receptor associated kinases, and then form homo- or heterodimers that translocate to the cell nucleus where they act as transcription activators. STAT3 is activated through phosphorylation in response to various cytokines and growth factors including IFNs, EGF, IL5, IL6, HGF, LIF and BMP2. It mediates the expression of a variety of genes in response to cell stimuli, and thus plays a key role in many cellular processes such as cell growth and apoptosis. The small GTPase Rac1 has been shown to bind and regulate the activity of this protein. PIAS3 protein is a specific inhibitor of this protein. The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the STAT protein family. Three alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms have been described.
