Catalog Number: (BOSSBS-4969R-A488)
Supplier: Bioss
Description: ANXA2R (annexin-2 receptor), also known as AX2R or C5orf39, is a 193 amino acid protein that is widely expressed and may act as an annexin II receptor on marrow stromal cells to induce osteoclast formation. In addition, ANXA2R is highly expressed in lymphocytes and is also found in resting CD4+ and CD8+ T cells. The gene encoding ANXA2R maps to human chromosome 5, which contains 181 million base pairs and comprises nearly 6% of the human genome. Chromosome 5 is associated with Cockayne syndrome through the ERCC8 gene and familial adenomatous polyposis through the adenomatous polyposis coli (APC) tumor suppressor gene. Treacher Collins syndrome is also chromosome 5-associated and is caused by insertions or deletions within the TCOF1 gene. Deletion of the p arm of chromosome 5 leads to Cri du chat syndrome, while deletion of the q arm or of chromosome 5 altogether is common in therapy-related acute myelogenous leukemias and myelodysplastic syndrome.

Catalog Number: (BOSSBS-11773R-A750)
Supplier: Bioss
Description: Terminally differentiating mammalian epidermal cells acquire an insoluble, 10 to 20 nm thick protein deposit on the intracellular surface of the plasma membrane, known as the cross-linked cell envelope (CE). The CE is a component of the epidermis that is generated through the formation of disulfide bonds and gamma-glutamyl-lysine isodipeptide bonds, which are formed by the action of transglutaminases (TGases). TGases are Ca2+-dependent enzymes, which catalyse the formation of isopeptide bonds by transferring an amine to a glutaminyl residue, thereby cross-linking glutamine residues and lysine residues in substrate proteins. TGases influence numerous biological processes, including blood coagulation, epidermal differentiation, seminal fluid coagulation, fertilisation, cell differentiation and apoptosis. TGase6 (transglutaminase 6), also known as TGM6, TGY or TGM3L, is a 706 amino acid protein that catalyses the cross-linking of proteins and the conjugation of proteins to polyamines. As a result of alternative splicing, two TGase6 isoforms exist.

Catalog Number: (BOSSBS-3502R-CY3)
Supplier: Bioss
Description: Synapsin II is a member of the synapsin gene family. Synapsins are neuronal phosphoproteins which associate with the cytoplasmic surface of synaptic vesicles. Family members are characterized by common protein domains, and they are implicated in synaptogenesis and the modulation of neurotransmitter release, suggesting a potential role in several neuropsychiatric diseases. This member of the synapsin family is a neuron-specific phosphoprotein that selectively binds to small synaptic vesicles in the presynaptic nerve terminal.

Catalog Number: (BOSSBS-11199R-A555)
Supplier: Bioss
Description: Dbx1 homeodomain transcription factor is expressed in progenitors at the boundary between the dorsal and ventral plates of the caudal neural tube, from which postmitotic cells migrate tangentially to their final destination. Dbx1 is implicated in patterning the central nervous system during embryogenesis. Cell fate allocation and cell diversity are determined at very early stages in progenitor cells at precise coordinates along the dorsoventral and anteroposterior axis. In the spinal cord, the spatially restricted expression of Dbx1 in progenitors is critical in establishing interneuron cell fates and helps coordinate diverse phenotypic features. In the telencephalon, Dbx1 is expressed in restricted progenitor domains at the borders of the developing pallium.

Catalog Number: (BOSSBS-0016R-A488)
Supplier: Bioss
Description: Neuronal Marker Tyrosine hydroxylase is involved in the conversion of tyrosine to dopamine. As the rate-limiting enzyme in the synthesis of catecholamines, tyrosine hydroxylase has a key role in the physiology of adrenergic neurons. Tyrosine hydroxylase is regularly used as a marker for dopaminergic neurons, which is particularly relevant for research into Parkinson's disease.
